Crysta’s Story: “The Confidence I Didn’t Know I Was Allowed to Have”

February 26, 20263 min read

Before her session, Crysta was honest about how she felt. Nervous. Unsure. Questioning whether she could even show up the “right” way.

In her own words:

“Before my session, I was extremely nervous that I wasn’t going to be able to bring enough to the table. I wasn’t going to be able to do what needed to be done to find the results I was looking for.”

That fear is so familiar. The quiet voice that says you’re too much of this, not enough of that. The voice that tells you your body is something to apologize for instead of celebrate.

But then… the experience happened.

“I had a great time. And after my session, there was a major shift in my confidence.”

Crysta described how she used to see herself.

“The image I had of myself in my head was, you know, ‘Oh, you’re 32, you have two kids. This is not anything that you can be proud of.’”

And then came the reveal.

“And then my session, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, that’s me. Oh, my goodness, I did not look at myself that way at all.’”

That moment? That’s the work.

Not changing her body.

Not becoming someone else.

But changing the story she was telling herself about who she already is.

“It was a major, major confidence boost.”

What stood out most to her wasn’t just the photos, but the entire experience.

“Between the hair, the makeup, the outfits, the overall experience, just everything about it was absolutely amazing.”

And when asked if she’d recommend it?

“I would 110% recommend Bomshell to anybody and everybody who’s willing to listen.”

Even more telling?

“I would 110% be willing to do it again, because the feeling it left me with was just perfection.”

That’s the part people don’t always expect. The photos are beautiful, yes. But the real transformation is how you walk out afterward. How you hold yourself. How you speak to yourself. How you stop shrinking in your own story.

Crysta didn’t leave with just images.

She left with a new lens on herself.

And sometimes, that’s the most powerful thing of all.

Thinking About Your Own Session?

If Crysta’s story hit close to home, maybe it’s because you recognize that voice in your head. The one that says you’re too tired, too changed, too far from the version of you that used to feel confident. The one that quietly asks, “Do I even deserve this?”

Crysta almost didn’t believe she could show up “enough” either. And then she saw herself and thought, “Oh my God… that’s me.”

What if the version of you you’re waiting to become is already here… you just haven’t seen her clearly yet?

This isn’t about proving anything. It’s about changing the story you tell yourself when you look in the mirror. It’s about trading self-criticism for self-respect. About giving yourself permission to feel proud, powerful, and fully present in your own skin again.

You don’t have to arrive confident. You just have to arrive.
