Corrin’s Story: “From Surviving to Seeing Herself”
When Corrin walked into Bomshell, she wasn’t chasing ‘sexy photos.’ She was standing at the edge of a moment she didn’t fully realize would change how she saw herself.

Her session started in an unexpected way. As she shared, “My story was chosen to receive a session for free… once I learned more about Bomshell and what they do, I was all in!” What began as an opportunity quickly became something much bigger than a photoshoot.
Trying to describe the experience, Corrin put it in words we’ll probably never top:
“It was like a fairytale meets self-help, but the fairy Goddess Mother and the therapist both rocked BomSquad tees! It would make a great screenplay for a short film about how the Universe intended to awaken the Divine Feminine within a middle aged woman who had lost herself in life.”
She talked about it like a hero’s journey. The kind where you’ve already done the work, already survived, already grown… but still don’t quite see your own power yet.
“She started her hero’s journey on her own… worked, learned, healed, grew, and evolved… but still didn’t recognize her own power and value… until fate crossed her path with the Bomshell Experience.”
That’s the part people don’t always realize about confidence. Sometimes it isn’t built from scratch. Sometimes it’s revealed.

During the shoot, that shift was instant.
“Like a damn queen, totally empowered.”
And yes, she felt celebrated the whole way through.
“Hell yes, I felt celebrated!”
But the real magic hit later.
When Corrin first saw her images, it didn’t just feel flattering. It felt surreal.
“It was such a different perspective, it took me a bit to comprehend that I was looking at myself! It was kinda like an out of body experience!”
Then came the moment that locked it all in.
After the shoot, back in her comfy clothes, she heard the team in the other room reacting to her photos. And standing in front of the mirror, still glammed, still glowing, she realized something clicked.
“I realized that the bad-ass goddess that had just owned that camera, was staring back at me from that mirror! All of that, was ME!”
That’s what this is really about.
Not becoming someone new.
Not fixing yourself.
Not waiting until you’re “ready enough.”
It’s about finally seeing what’s already there.
Even the practical side of the experience held up. When asked if the investment was worth it, her answer was simple and powerful:
“Absolutely, 100% worth it.”
And when it came to the team?
She raved about Nikki’s hair and makeup, especially her eyes and lashes, and about Kelsey’s photography skills, saying:
“She put me in poses that felt so weird and unnatural… but there’s a VERY good reason for that! I’m built like SpongeBob, and in my photos, I had hips, and a butt, and curves where I’ve never seen curves before!”
Would she send her best friend?
“Hell yes, absolutely.”
Corrin’s story isn’t about a photoshoot. It’s about a woman who had already done the work of becoming… finally seeing herself reflected back with power, color, and confidence.
Sometimes the mirror changes everything.
Thinking About Your Own Session?

If Corrin’s story resonated, maybe it’s because you’ve been there too. You’ve done the work. You’ve survived the hard chapters. You’ve grown, healed, and kept going… and still, when you look in the mirror, you don’t always see the full power of who you’ve become.
Maybe you’re not broken. Maybe you’re just overdue for seeing yourself clearly.
Corrin didn’t walk in looking for “pretty pictures.” She walked in and discovered a version of herself she hadn’t fully met yet. The kind that feels like a queen. The kind that realizes, “All of that… is me.”
And if there’s a small voice in you wondering, “Is this really for someone like me?” let us answer that the same way her experience did:
Yes. It is.
This isn’t about vanity. It’s about perspective. About finally seeing your own strength, your own spark, your own story reflected back at you without apology. About being celebrated exactly as you are right now, not some future version of you.
You don’t have to wait until you feel “ready.” Sometimes, the experience is what reminds you that you already are.
